Hugo de Sousa is an innovation expert with 20 years of experience in consulting in different companies. Currently he is the Managing Partner of Innovation by Kaizen.
Throughout his career, he was Head of Innovation at BearingPoint and Capita (UK), worked in start-ups, founded a “Code Academy” in Portugal and Romania, and worked as an Advisor of the XXI Government of Portugal in the area of innovation in the Justice Department. He was the first CIO of Turismo de Portugal.
He teaches and leads Strategic Business Analytics at Bayes Business School, formerly known as CASS Business School, a business school at City University of London and lectures at high-profile Universities (NovaSBE, Univ. de Coimbra, Técnico, AESE), conferences, and also at TedX.
Recently, his career took in an impressive and diverse list of FTSE organisations, consultancies and public administration entities.
Hugo de Sousa has an academic background in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Technology and Management. He is also the founder of The Innovation Café, where he has been building a pioneering community (2k+) of business innovation professionals.

Diogo Felisberto is an expert in new business design and innovation strategies and is currently the Managing Director at Innovation by Kaizen.
Throughout his 15 years of experience, he has helped dozens of organisations improve their results by optimising costs and increasing sales. He has supported some of the world's largest companies in areas such as retail and agri-food. He has lived in Singapore, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Portugal.
He was responsible for the establishment of two Kaizen Institute offices - Lisbon and Melbourne.
He has worked at BPI Asset Management where he managed balanced investment funds for private and institutional customers.
He has a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
