Hugo de Sousa is a digital entrepreneur and thought leader in Corporate Innovation.

Hugo leads Innovation by Kaizen - the growth and innovation company of the Kaizen Institute Western Europe - and teaches Strategic Business Analytics in London at Bayes Business School City University of London, Digital Transformation in the executive programs of Nova SBE Executive Education and Corporate Innovation at Técnico+ Advanced Training.

His career includes a diverse list of renowned companies, consultants and public service entities, including Capita Plc, BearingPoint, Lionbridge, Arthur D. Little, Inetum and the Portuguese Government's Justice and Tourism sectors.

On February 26, 2022, Hugo founded wehelpukraine.org after a post on LinkedIn. The platform was developed by more than 300 volunteers, helped thousands of people in just a few weeks, was recommended by the President of the Portuguese Republic, sponsored by 2 unicorns and dozens of renowned companies.

In 2014 he was co-founder of the first programming learning start-up in Portugal and Romania, Alphappl / Jademy. Keynote and TedX speaker.

He is certified in several areas, namely in Design Thinking by IDEO, Design Sprint, Lean-Startup, CSPO / CSM by Agile Alliance and Project Management Professional (PMI).
